There are so many ways of journeying the land but from the Prophets to the pilgrims, walking has always been recognised as a honored way of journeying. Every step is an opportunity to be in a state of dhikr, to reflect and release, as we move towards an outer and inner destination. It is the slowest form of movement, giving us time to witness the ever-changing landscapes of the land with an awareness of our own internal journey that coincides. We are continually connected and rooted to the Earth as we journey with the Land.

Join the tribe for our first Ladies only walking retreat. We will spend 3 days walking, journeying, praying, reconnecting, and nourishing ourselves in the beautiful breathtaking lands of the Peak District. We will visit Kinder Scout and Mam Tor amongst other peaceful and scenic walks.
We will be joined by experienced female walking guides as we explore dhikr in nature and reflect upon the beautiful signs of Allah. Enjoy being with the company of sisters, eating, and praying together. There will be moments of silent walking (dhikr) on both of our walks.
The walks are suitable for ladies with a basic fitness level, but you will need proper clothing and footwear. Please contact us using the details below if you are unsure whether this applies to you.
Please note that there are limited spaces, spaces can only be confirmed upon receipt of payment. We are unable to hold any spaces without payment of a deposit.

Location: We will be staying in Tideswell a beautiful village in the heart of the White Peak. Full address will be given once your space is confirmed

*Please note that walks may be subject to change according to weather conditions and availability.
How does payment work?
The cost of the retreat is £285. This includes food, accommodation, and guided walks.
You can either pay the amount in full or you can pay a deposit of £125 by Monday 4th April 2022. If you are booking after Monday 4th April you must pay the full amount.
Payment is done through BACS this is to ensure that we can cost the price at the cheapest price possible with no external booking fees. If you would like to pay via PAYPAL then this can be arranged however an extra booking fee will be added to the fee.
What is the sleeping Arrangement?
Beds are either bunk beds or single beds in shared rooms of 3 or 4
Bed Linen will be provided.
What are the travel arrangement?
You are responsible for arranging your own transport to the venue.
In order to keep emissions low, we strongly encourage sisters to carpool. If you will be traveling by car and attending the retreat by yourself, we can arrange for you to pick up sisters from the nearest station and transport sisters to and from the hike*. Let us know upon registration if you have the capacity to do so.
* i.e pick up/drop off from the station/walk destination (all walks and train stations are within 15-30minutes from our retreat space)

Can I only attend the walk?
To get the full benefit of the retreat we advise you to stay over and experience the full 3 days with us. We do have a few ‘walk only’ spaces for our Saturday hike ( Kinder Scout) Please send us an email if you are interested to find out about costs. info@greendeentribe.co.uk
Can I bring my child?
This is a retreat open to only 18years and old. We are not able to cater for any children
What is your cancellation policy?
In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a retreat for any reason, you will receive a full refund or a transfer to another retreat. We are not able to cover additional travel expenses or are responsible for any consequential expenses incurred as a result of any cancellation.
If you cancel before Monday 4th April 2022 a full refund will be offered. If you cancel after this date we can not guarantee a refund. We encourage you to try and find someone else to take your space. If we have a waiting list, we will most certainly try and offer your space to others.
If you test positive for COVID-19 or need to isolate for any other COVID-19 related reason, unfortunately, your space will not be refunded.
What is your COVID-19 policy?
We are asking that all participants have proof of a negative covid test 24hrs before attending the retreat. If you have tested positive for COVID we ask that you not to attend the retreat.
Are there any discounts available?
No, we are a non-profit collective with an intention to provide regular quality retreats which are affordable and so all of our retreats are priced at minimum costs. If you would like to set up a payment plan, please do get in contact to see if it can be arranged.
